Jessica is a main protagonist from The Proxy Killings, a psychological thriller series. We meet her early in the book one and follow her journey from grieving mother to international award winning journalist. She is a strong yet flawed character, who has faced great sorrow and obstacles in her life, and yet has a talent for investigative journalism. Her loves and losses along the way does not stop her from her main goal, which is to write the truth, however hard that may be.
Jessica was one of a handful of characters that I thought about for this series. It was not until I actually began writing the first few chapters of the second book ,as a writing project, that I realised that she was one of the main protagonists of the series. I went back and rewrote some of the early chapters of book one to secure her position throughout the series.
To be honest I have a bit of a soft spot for Jessica and have been routing for her from the sidelines for a year now.
I hope you get to know her and all her flaws, her triumphs and her personal successes as the series continues to grow too.
